New rafters and support rafters were installed before applying a new breathable membrane and battens. The junction with the flat roof was waterproofed before the roof was re-slated and new fascia, soffit and downpipes installed, while repairs were also carried out to internal rooms including slabbing, plastering and painting. The external doors were also draft proofed and painted while an external concrete post and chainlink wire perimeter fence was also erected along school boundary as part of the works.
