Experienced Site Engineers

Full time position.

Required for projects in the Midlands and Dublin/Leinster regions.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience. The successful candidate will be liaising with our senior quantity surveyor.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress
  • Attending site meetings with the construction and design teams
  • Reporting progress on site to senior management
  • Supporting the senior site engineer and project manager with day to day running of the project
  • Acting under the senior engineer as a technical advisor on site for specialist subcontractors
  • Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
  • Checking plans, drawings and setting out co ordination
  • Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy on site
  • Preparing reports as required for senior site manager and project manager
  • Having a pro active approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and planning skills and be IT literate, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Quantity Surveyors

Full time position

Required for jobs in the Midlands and Dublin/Leinster regions.

Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years experience.

The successful candidate’s main duties will include:

  • Assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparation of valuations and relevant notice of claims and back up to be submitted on time to client and their representatives
  • Assisting Purchasing Manager in preparation of purchase orders
  • Preparing and analysing materials and subcontractor quotations
  • General contract administration of subcontractors including assistance and preparation of letters of intent, orders, subcontractor valuations, payment certificates and compliance with client requirements
  • Attending site meetings for tendering purposes, interim valuations, site meetings and commercial meetings
  • Assisting Senior Estimator in preparation of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions.

The successful candidate must possess strong skills in planning; organisational and time management. Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of public works contracts are also essesntial.
