This Accessibility Project comprised of the construction of a new Up & Down platform extension to allow disabled access throughout the station. The project was constructed adjacent to the main Dublin to Galway live line and the station was left open to the public at all times. Construction involved elements such as precast Z & L retaining units, ducting, drainage and up-grading of existing Up platform. Design and installation of Pedestrian Footbridge, 2 nr lift shafts and installation and commissioning of 2 nr hydraulic machine room-less lifts
